Psychic meaning of the number sequence 11:11

In response to the post Psychic meaning of number sequences (e.g., 111, 222, 333), several of my students asked me to elaborate on the meaning of the special number sequence 11:11.

Have you been seeing 11:11 (or 111 or 1111)?

The sequence 11:11 has received more attention than most number sequences partly due to the frequency with which it is seen by psychics, mediums, and healers and those in the metaphysical field.

The mysterious appearance of 11:11 has been happening to people all over the world for many years now, often at times of heightened psychic or spiritual awareness. And these sightings are becoming more and more common.

What does 11:11 mean?

There are actually quite a few theories. Here are some of the more common ones:

Some people believe that 11:11 is a “pre-encoded trigger” that was placed in the cellular memory of lightworkers before we incarnated into our present lifetime. There are several ideas regarding what is “triggered” within us:
- A remembrance that we are souls having a physical experience and not a physical being embarking on a spiritual experience.
- An awakening of long-forgotten psychic skills, healing abilities, and/or metaphysical knowledge.
- An opening of the channel or gateway between our current dimension and other dimensions that (a) facilitates our communication with entities not present in this dimension and (b) allows us access to information contained in other dimensions (e.g., Akashic Records).
- A signal that it is time in humanity’s history for us to let go of the misperception of duality and move toward a philosophical understanding of oneness. When looked at in this way, the number 11:11 is sometimes symbolically interpreted as 4 figures forming one value or one image. But these figures do not touch, so they are seen as together and yet separate.
Others believe that seeing the number 11:11 is a powerful confirmation that the person is on the right track spiritually. When you see this number, it is recommended that you pause, think about what you are doing or what you are thinking about at that specific moment. Then, you are encouraged to acknowledge that Spirit is wanting you to understand that whatever you are doing or thinking about is aligned with your Divine purpose.
Some believe that all number sequences, including 11:11, are simply messages from Spirit to let you know that your angels and guides are with you and that those on the others side are real and support you.
Finally, from a numerological perspective, the number 11 is a Master Number that represents psychic/intuitive awareness, vision, artistic ability, inventive genius, and idealism. The number 11:11 is seen as a higher vibrational form of this Master Number.

Which theory is right?

You may find that one or more of these theories “rings true” for you.
Due to differing life scripts and soul experiences, what is “right” for one person may not be “right” for someone else.
Therefore, there isn’t one “right” answer. There’s only the “right” answer(s) for you.
