Program Requirements for IMPART Certification Programs.

Certification Programs are no longer being offered through IMPART.

What are the entrance requirements?

In order to be eligible to apply to one or more of IMPART’s Certification Programs for Psychics, Mediums, and/or Healers, the student must complete the following Entrance Requirements:

• Attend 10 Psychic Development and Mediumship classes
• Attend 3 healing courses taught by Anne (e.g., Reiki I, Reiki II, Reiki III/Advanced Reiki Training)

NOTES: 

• All required coursework must be completed through IMPART classes.
• It is the student’s responsibility to keep track of all classes taken using the IMPART Certification Worksheet.

Application process

Following completion of the Entrance Requirement (see section above), the student is then eligible to apply for admission to the Certification Program(s) in his or her chosen Program(s).  The application process includes:

• Submitting a completed IMPART Certification Program Application Form
• Payment of the 1-time Registration Fee

Each student is to select one or more Certification Program(s).  The Programs are:

• Psychic Certification Program
• Medium Certification Program
• Healer Certification Program

The Registration Fees are:

• $150 for 1 Program
• $250 for 2 Programs
• $300 for 3 Programs

NOTE:  The Registration Fee will be refunded if the student’s Application is not accepted.

NOTE:  Although students must select at least one Certification Program at the time they apply, they can (a) add additional Certification Programs at any time and/or (b) elect to move to a different Certification Program at any time.

NOTE:  If admitted, then any coursework that was completed before admission to the program will be applied retroactively toward the completion of the student’s chosen Program requirements.

General Requirements for ALL Certification Programs

The following general requirements are to be met by ALL Certification Program students:

A total of 162 hours are required, which fall into 4 categories (see below for detailed descriptions of each category):

1. Practical Coursework (125 hours)
2. Energetic Healing Coursework (19 hours)
3. Foundational Coursework (13 hours)
4. Advanced Practical Coursework (5 hours)

            TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED:  162

Within those 162 hours, each Certification Program requires the completion of specific classes (see later in this document for requirements for each Program).

NOTE:  All courses can “double count” or “triple count” towards different Certification Programs (e.g., Business 101 will count toward two or more Programs). 

1.  Practical Coursework (125 hours)

125 hours selected from any of the following classes or workshops:

• Psychic Development, Mediumship, & Channeling classes (any Thursday evening class) (2.5 hours each)
• Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts classes (any Tuesday evening class) (2.5 hours each)
• Healing courses that are taken in excess of the 19 required hours for the Energetic Healing Coursework requirement (6 or 7 hours each)
• Participation at Sampling of Reading & Healing Technique events (2nd Monday of each month) (2.5 hours each)
  • Attending or assisting
  • Offering services in area of specialty in excess of the 5 required hours
• Assisting in Reiki I, Reiki II, or Reiki III/ART courses (up to 20 hours maximum may be applied)
• Any weekend workshops on specific topics:
  • Connecting with Your Angels and Guides (6 hours)
  • Psychic Development 101: The Clairs (6 hours)
  • Runes 101: An Ancient Divination Tool with Modern Applications (6 hours)
  • Tarot 101 (6 hours)
  • Understanding Grief: How to Assist Those Who Are Grieving (6 hours)

NOTE: Although instructor’s approval is required for participation in the Tuesday class (“Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts”), once students are admitted to a Certification Program, then they are automatically enrolled in the Tuesday evening class.  

NOTE:  Students may and are encouraged to simultaneously attend the Tuesday evening class (“Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts”) and Thursday evening (“Psychic Development, Mediumship, & Channeling”). 

NOTE:  The Tuesday and Thursday courses can be taken repetitively for credit; i.e., each time a class is taken (even if the topic is the same) the hours will count toward the Practical Coursework requirement. 

NOTE:  Students may not count Anne’s Astrology courses (4th Thursday of the month) toward any IMPART Certification Programs for Psychics, Mediums, or Healers.  

2.  Energetic Healing Coursework (3 courses for a minimum of 19 hours)

19 hours selected from the following workshops:

• Reiki I (7 hours)
• Reiki II (6 hours)
• Reiki III/Advanced Reiki Training (7 hours)
• Reiki Master (6 hours)
• Karuna Reiki® I Practitioner (7 hours)
• Karuna Reiki® II Practitioner (6 hours)
• Karuna Reiki® I & II Master (6 hours)

NOTE:  In order for a specific Energetic Healing Coursework requirement to be met, the student must be in attendance for the entire class.  If the student arrives more than 15 minutes late or leaves more than 15 minutes early, the student will need to attend the missed portion of the class in the future.      

NOTE:  If classes are taken that exceed the 19 minimum required hours, these hours will count toward the 125 hours of Practical Coursework (see Section 1 above). 

3.  Foundational Coursework (13 hours)

2 workshops are required:

• Business 101:  How to Create & Run Your Own Profitable Business (6 hours)
• Mastering Challenging Situations: How to Effectively Deal with Difficult People & Events (7 hours)

NOTE:  In order for a specific Foundational Coursework requirement to be met, the student must be in attendance for the entire class.  If the student arrives more than 15 minutes late or leaves more than 15 minutes early, the student will need to attend the missed portion of the class in the future.

4.  Advanced Practical Coursework (5 hours)

2 classes are required and each class is 2.5 hours:

• Students are to offer services to the public at 2 “Sampling of Reading and Healing Techniques” events in their chosen area of specialty (see below).

NOTE:  If a student has elected to participate in more than one specialty, then the student will need to participate in the “Sampling of Reading and Healing Techniques” class twice for EACH of the student’s chosen specialties.  For example, if the student is enrolled in the Psychic and Healer specialties, then the student must participate in 2 Samplings events as a Psychic and 2 Samplings events as a Healer. 

NOTE:  Any hours in excess of the 5 required for the Advanced Practical Coursework requirement will be counted toward the Practical Coursework requirement.

Required classes for chosen program(s)

In addition to meeting the preceding General Requirements, each student is to select at least 1 Certification Program specialty.  Within the 162 required hours, the student is to complete the specific required classes for that Program, as described below.

The Programs are:

A.  Healer Certification Program
B.  Psychic Certification Program
C.  Medium Certification Program

NOTE:  In order for the Program requirements to be met, the student must be in attendance for the entire class.  If the student arrives more than 15 minutes late or leaves more than 15 minutes early, the student will need to attend the missed portion of the class in the future.

A.  Healer Certification Program Requirements

SECTION 1 – Practical Coursework (125 hours)

Must include:

• 8 healings at the 4^th Tuesday “Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts” classes (Must attend a minimum of 4 meetings)

SECTION 2 – Energetic Healing Coursework (19 hours)

Must include:

• 3 healing courses
• 1 Master-level healing course (i.e., Reiki Master or Karuna Reiki® Master)

SECTION 3 – Foundational Coursework (13 hours)

Must include:

• “Business 101” workshop
• “Mastering Challenging Situations” workshop

SECTION 4 – Advanced Practical Coursework (5 hours)

Must include:

• 2 “Sampling of Reading and Healing Techniques” events (student must offer healing sessions)

TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED FOR HEALER PROGRAM:  162

B.  Psychic Certification Program Requirements

SECTION 1 – Practical Coursework (125 hours)

Must include:

• 4 “Psychic Development, Mediumship, & Channeling” classes (specifically the 1^st Thursday of each month when psychic readings are done in class)
• 4 “Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts” classes (specifically the 4^th Tuesday of each month and the student is to participate in providing psychic readings to those in attendance)
• 1 Mediumship class (3^rd Thursdays of the month)
• 1 Development Circle (part of Tuesday “Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts” class) (NOTE: Must attend all 4 meetings of 1 Circle)
• “Connecting with Your Angels & Guides” workshop
• “Psychic Development 101: The Clairs” workshop

SECTION 2 – Energetic Healing Coursework (19 hours)

Must include:

• 3 healing courses

SECTION 3 – Foundational Coursework (13 hours)

Must include:

• “Business 101” workshop
• “Mastering Challenging Situations” workshop

SECTION 4 – Advanced Practical Coursework (5 hours)

Must include:

• 2 “Sampling of Reading and Healing Techniques” events (student must offer psychic readings)

TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED FOR PSYCHIC PROGRAM:  162

C.   Medium Certification Program Requirements

SECTION 1 – Practical Coursework (125 hours)

Must include:

• 8 Mediumship classes (3^rd Thursdays of the month)
• 1 Development Circle (part of Tuesday “Advanced Practice in the Psychic & Healing Arts” class) (NOTE: Must attend all 4 meetings of 1 Circle)
• “Connecting with Your Angels & Guides” workshop
• “Psychic Development 101: The Clairs” workshop
• “Understanding Grief” workshop

SECTION 2 – Energetic Healing Coursework (19 hours)

Must include:

• 3 healing courses

SECTION 3 – Foundational Coursework (13 hours)

Must include:

• “Business 101” workshop
• “Mastering Challenging Situations” workshop

SECTION 4 – Advanced Practical Coursework (5 hours)

Must include:

• 2 “Sampling of Reading and Healing Techniques” events (student must offer mediumship readings)

TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED FOR THE MEDIUMSHIP PROGRAM:  162

NOTE:  For those Certification Programs that require participation in Mediumship class, please note that this topic is offered on the 3^rd Thursday of the month during “Psychic Development, Mediumship, & Channeling” class.  These classes do not need to be attended consecutively (i.e., the student can miss a class and then rejoin at any time).  

NOTE:  For those Certification Programs that require participation in 1 Development Circle, please note that these Circles occur during the “Advanced Practice in the Psychic and Healing Arts” class, which is taught on Tuesday evenings.  Circles require a 4-month commitment (i.e., a total of 4 meetings).  The student must attend all four (4) sessions in order to receive credit for this requirement. If one session is missed, then the student must attend another Circle.

Time limit for completion of program(s)

Students may complete the Certification Programs whenever they wish.  There is no time limit.

However, IMPART reserves the right (a) to no longer offer a course included in a Certification Program, (b) to change the manner in which a required course is taught (e.g., in-person versus electronic), and/or (c) discontinue a Certification Program.  All currently enrolled Certification Program students will be notified at least one year in advance of any changes that might impact the integrity of their Certification Program.

Program advising & final review

1. Program Advising

Students are strongly encouraged to speak regularly with the IMPART Certification Program Adviser in order to make sure you understand the requirements and are on track to completing your Program(s).  When meeting in person, please bring your IMPART Certification Worksheet.  All courses taken thus far should be listed on the Worksheet by the student before the meeting occurs.

2.  Final Review

When you believe that all coursework/hours have been completed, you are to provide a copy of your completed IMPART Certification Program Worksheet to the IMPART Certification Program Adviser.  Once the Program Adviser has confirmed that all coursework and requirements have been completed, then you will receive your official Certificate of Completion from IMPART.

Once you are an IMPART Certification graduate

• You are then free to state that you are an “IMPART Certified Healer,” “IMPART Certified Psychic,” or “IMPART Certified Medium.”
• You can elect to be listed on our online Directory of IMPART Certified graduates.
• You will be sent IMPART Certified badges that can be posted on your website, Facebook, or other marketing material.
